About the event
Join us for a DuringMyTime.SG heritage engagement session at Gin Thye Cake Maker, a beloved traditional bakery run by second-generation owner, Mr Lawrence Lim and his mother. This session invites participants to slow down, listen, and experience the heart of our Singapore heritage craft through a mindful arrival practice, storytelling, photography, and a hands-on experience in making Dragon Beard Candy, one of Gin Thye’s most iconic traditional treats.
Participants will hear personal stories from the family behind the business, learn to capture nostalgic visuals through photography, take part in a game quest, experience how to make dragon beard candy, and end the day with a limited-edition DuringMyTime.SG collectible coin to mark their journey.
